Gallstone disease

Schuessler salts help relieve painful symptoms of gallstones.

In a healthy gallbladder, digestive bile flows freely through the bile ducts. If the flow is obstructed, the bile thickens, leading to gallstone formation. If gallstones become lodged in the bile ducts, bile retention also occurs. Intestinal spasms, lasting from 15 minutes to 5 hours, are the body’s attempt to dislodge the lodged stone. This causes severe pain and can lead to inflammation of the gallbladder, pancreas, and liver. Excess weight and high cholesterol increase the risk of gallstone formation, and suppressed anger is also considered a risk factor for gallstone formation.

  • Schuessler Salt No. 7 (magnesium phosphate) has a relaxing effect on the bile ducts. Can be used with the “hot seven” method.
  • Schuessler Salt No. 10 Sodium Sulfate – restores bile secretion, it should never be used in case of biliary colic or blockage of the bile ducts due to gallstones – this will worsen the symptoms!
  • Schuessler’s salt No. 19 Copper arsenate and Schuessler’s salt No. 23 Sodium bicarbonate – relieves acute symptoms.
  • Schussler salt No. 3 Iron phosphate – use for inflamed gallbladder, can be used in the morning as a preventative measure.
  • Schuessler Salt No. 6 Potassium Sulfate – for the prevention of stone formation in sludge syndrome and other risk factors. A key liver remedy.
