Wound healing
Schuessler salts accelerate wound healing and reduce the risk of infection and inflammation.
Schuessler salts can also be used for all minor household injuries. They can also promote good wound healing in cases of serious injuries or after surgery. When choosing the appropriate salts, consider the current symptoms and other modalities. There are also different phases in which different Schuessler salts promote wound healing. They can be applied topically or in tablet form.
Tablets are important initially, when the wound needs to be kept covered to allow it to close. Once this has occurred, they can be applied locally.
The appropriate salt or salts, as usual, can be selected based on the symptoms.
Wound healing can be divided into 3 phases:
Phase 1: The cleansing phase, which includes bleeding and possible inflammation and lasts up to 4 days (Schüssler Sol No. 3)
Phase 2 – the phase of proliferation and granulation, here the wound closes – Schuessler salt No. 4
Phase 3 – the phase of tissue regeneration and epithelialization – Schuessler salt No. 6
In phases 1 and 2, alternate salts No. 3 and No. 4, since these two phases actually occur simultaneously.
In phase 3, use Schuessler salt No. 6 to form a normal scar.
• Schuessler’s salt No. 1 – use as an ointment – maintains the elasticity of the wound edges and at the same time strengthens new tissue.
• Schussler salt No. 5 – acts as an antiseptic, invigorates, strengthens and is mainly used as an ointment.
• Schuessler salt No. 8 – regulates the humidity of the environment in the wound and in adjacent tissues.
• Schuessler Salt No. 9 – usually used in ointment form and regulates the pH value in wound and scar tissue, mainly by reducing acidity.
• Schuessler salt No. 10 – has a cleansing effect and helps remove toxins and metabolic products, for use in the form of tablets and ointments.
• Schuessler salt No. 11 is a “tissue stabilizer” and can be taken as a supplement for any injuries in the form of tablets.
• Wounds that initially heal poorly or not at all (e.g., “sore legs”) usually respond well to salts No. 3 and No. 10.
