Coughing is a protective symptom in many conditions. It’s a response to clear the respiratory tract of foreign bodies, such as dust, microorganisms, food, and so on.

On the other hand, a cough is a symptom of a cold, flu, bronchitis, or asthma. In these cases, the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract become irritated and partially blocked by mucus.

Schuessler salts are intended to reduce the urge to cough and gently relieve coughing pain.

Schuessler’s salt No. 2 Calcium phosphate – for barking cough.

Schuessler’s salt No. 4 – Potassium chloride – thins mucus, second stage of inflammation, anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect.

Schuessler salt No. 7 – magnesium phosphate – spasmodic cough, has a relaxing effect on bronchospasm and lingering cough.

Take 1-3 tablets 2-3 times daily as needed. For acute symptoms, take the medications at half-hour intervals. Dissolve the tablets half an hour before or an hour after meals. Drink plenty of warm water.
