Almost everyone suffers from headaches from time to time. But not all headaches are created equal. The two most common types, migraines and tension headaches, account for over 90 percent of headaches. Schuessler salts are considered a gentle alternative to painkillers for mild headaches.
Schuessler salts should be taken at the first sign of a headache to immediately relieve the pain and prevent progression.
Headache in schoolchildren – Schuessler salt No. 2 – Calcium phosphoricum – acts on the parasympathetic nervous system.
Headaches arising from tension in the neck area – Schuessler salt No. 7 – Magnesium phosphate – has a relaxing effect.
Headache with a feeling of pressure in the head – Schuessler Salt No. 14 – Potassium bromate – has a calming effect on the nervous system.
Headache after a nervous breakdown – Schuessler salt No. 21 – Zinc chloride – soothes headaches associated with stress.
One-sided headache – Schuessler salt No. 22 – Calcium carbonate – affects the autonomic nervous system or Schuessler salt No. 19 – Copper arsenite – supports the metabolism of nervous tissue and has a relaxing effect.
