A hematoma develops as a result of a blood vessel being damaged by trauma. Blood leaking into the surrounding tissues creates a characteristic coloration in the area of injury.
The color of a bruise changes from purple, blue, and green to yellow over the course of a few days. If the bruise is caused by an injury, it usually heals within a few days. However, bruises can sometimes occur spontaneously due to various illnesses and medications. It’s best to use ointments or compresses containing salts. Apply a thin layer of cream or a paste made from triturated salts.
- Schuessler salt No. 3 Iron phosphate – for acute trauma, reduces pain and stops bleeding.
- Schuessler’s Salt No. 10 (sodium sulfate) accelerates the removal of damaged blood cells. It has a resorptive effect.
- Schussler salt No. 11 Silicon – maintains tissue cleansing from blood decay products.
