Natrium bicarbonicum
Sodium bicarbonate
Additional salt for metabolism and acid-base balance.
Composition: Sodium bicarbonate, pharmacopoeial lactose, magnesium stearate, aerosil A.
Product form: glass bottle, 200 tablets of 250 mg each
Sodium bicarbonate is found in the liver and pancreas.
It stimulates metabolic processes in the body, promotes the excretion of uric acid and stimulates the pancreas, which is important for metabolism. In the blood, sodium bicarbonate acts as an “acid buffer” and, thus, plays an important role in a balanced acid-base balance, which, in turn, is necessary for a regulated metabolism.
Sodium bicarbonate binds excess acid in the stomach. It is used for heartburn if no other remedies help. It is used to treat diabetes and its complications. Heaviness in the legs, burning in the soles, twitching of the hands when falling asleep, twitching of the hands when falling asleep, tingling, piercing pain in the tip of the left shoulder blade, constant cold between the shoulder blades, bloating, cloudy eyes in the morning or white stars, or blinding flashes of flies.
With a decrease in Bicarbonate reserves, symptoms such as heartburn, weight gain, increased acidity or gout and rheumatism may occur.
