Anemia and iron deficiency.
Different treatment regimens can be suggested for the treatment of anemia.
If the salt deficiency is not pronounced, Schussler’s salt No. 3 Iron Phosphate and Schussler’s salt No. 17 Manganese Sulfate are used to prevent iron deficiency.
It has been found that patients with anemia often have sufficient iron stores in their bodies, but their ability to incorporate iron into their blood cells is impaired. Excessive iron supplementation does not effectively treat anemia, but it can have negative health consequences. Therefore, it is crucial to provide patients with Sodium Chloride (No. 8), which is responsible for cell division and helps increase the number of red blood cells. Additionally, Calcium Phosphate is prescribed to improve the incorporation of iron ions into hemoglobin.
- Sodium Chloride(No.8)- Morning
- Calcium phosphate (No. 5) – lunch
Dosing depends on the age. Salts are prescribed 5 days a week, with a break on weekends.
