Anal pruritus (pruritus ani) seriously limits the patient’s quality of life. The itching of the anus or the skin around the anus often becomes unbearable during the night, and only intense scratching provides relief.

There are many causes of anal itching, including diabetes mellitus, hemorrhoids, abscesses, fungal infections, parasitic infestations, diarrhea, food intolerances, contact allergies (such as shower gel or detergent), excessive sweating, and inadequate or excessive hygiene.

Schussler’s salts relieve itching gently and without side effects.

• Schussler’s Salt 31 Calcium Fluoride relieves irritation.
• Schussler’s Salt No. 3 reduces inflammation.
• Schussler’s Salt No. 11 Silicon has a soothing effect on tissues.

Take 1-3 tablets 2-3 times a day as needed. In case of acute symptoms, the product can be taken at half-hour intervals.

The tablets are dissolved under the tongue 30-40 minutes before meals, with plenty of clean water.

For local application: the anus area is thoroughly washed with neutral soap. Apply the salts locally 1-2 times a day. Dissolve the required amount of salts in warm water, apply to the skin, let it dry for 20-30 minutes, and rinse.
