Abscess – this limited accumulation of pus in tissues or organs due to their inflammation with tissue melting and the formation of a cavity. The cause of the abscess is the penetration of pyogenic microbes into the tissues (through abrasions, injections, wounds).
In some cases, surgical treatment is required. If the process is superficial or slow-flowing, you can use Schussler’s salts. Be sure to consult your doctor about the need to open the purulent formation.
Schussler’s salts are supportive in inflammation, especially in cases where the inflammatory process is “frozen” and does not open up on its own. The salts can help in the spontaneous opening of the focus and stimulate resorption without opening.
Which Schussler salts can be used:
- Schussler’s Salt No. 3 Iron Phosphate – modulates inflammatory reactions. Use only at the beginning of suppuration. Take 2 tablets orally 3 times a day. Locally, crush 2-3 tablets with water and apply the paste to the affected area if there is no skin damage.
- Schussler’s Salt No. 4 Potassium Chloride prevents chronic suppuration. Take 2 tablets 3 times a day.
- Schussler’s Salt No. 9 Sodium Phosphate acts on the metabolic processes of suppuration. Take 2 tablets 3 times a day.
- Schussler’s Salt No. 12 – Calcium Sulfate – for extracting pus when applied locally. Locally, crush 2-3 tablets with water and apply the paste to the affected area if there is an opening for removing pus.
