Herpes

90% of the adult population is a carrier of the herpes virus.

Symptoms: painful blisters on the lips, in the corners of the lips, or under the nose, sensitive skin, redness, and a painful burning sensation. General symptoms may also occur: fever, weakness, fatigue, and swollen lymph nodes. In severe cases, internal organ damage is observed.

Infection occurs through contact with the skin and mucous membranes. Once in the body, the virus “sleeps” in the cells of the nervous system. A well-functioning immune system prevents the virus from “awakening.” However, stress, excess ultraviolet radiation, hormonal changes, and hypothermia cause the virus to multiply.

The causative virus remains in the body for life. Schuessler salts are helpful in reducing herpes outbreaks.

Schuessler salts can be taken internally and used externally.

Schuessler salt No. 3 Iron phosphate – effective against all acute inflammations, can be used as a compress externally.

Schuessler’s salt No. 4 Potassium chloride – for blisters with a yellowish-watery content, also used as a cream.

Schuessler salt No. 5 Potassium phosphate – used at temperatures above 38.5 degrees C.

Schuessler’s Salt No. 8 Sodium Chloride – should be applied externally to blisters with clear watery contents, for frequently occurring blisters (monthly).

Schuessler’s salt No. 9 sodium phosphate – for blisters with yellowish, thick secretion, can be used externally.

Schuessler’s Salt No. 10 Sodium Sulfate – for blisters with contents ranging from dark yellow to brown in color.

Schussler Salt No. 11 Silicon – stabilizes and regulates skin cells and mucous membranes.

Schuessler’s salt No. 18 Calcium sulfide – for herpes after exposure to cold, frost, snow, as well as damp and cold weather.

How to prepare Schuessler salt for topical use:

Mix one tablet of your chosen salt (or several salts) with a few drops of warm water to form a thick paste. Then apply the paste to the cold sore using cotton swabs, repeating this process several times a day. In addition to the salts’ action, the consistency of the thick paste promotes rapid drying and healing of blisters. This treatment, if applied early at the first sign of infection, can even prevent blisters from forming altogether.
